- Response Worksheet This is a SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS. This is a Sources Sought Synopsis announcement; market survey for information only, to be used for preliminary planning purposes. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this synopsis. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. The General Services Administration, Public Buildings Service is issuing this Sources Sought Synopsis for market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential qualified Woman Owned Small Businesses, Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses, 8(a), HubZone and other small businesses interested and capable of providing the services described below. The potential qualified contractor shall provide management, supervision, manpower, materials, equipment and supplies necessary to provide custodial and related performance based services for the Administration and Garage Buildings located at 2800 S. Eastern Avenue, Oklahoma City, OK, in accordance with the Cleaning Work and Quality Requirements. The anticipated contract length is one year, with four (4) one-year option periods; the anticipated start date is November 1, 2011. For informational purposes, facilities and custodial services information will be provided upon request by e-mailing matthew.phillips@gsa.gov ; requests for facilities and custodial services information shall be made no later than Monday, May 16, 2011. The applicable North American Classification System (NAICS) code for the services described herein is 561720. For this NAICS code, the U.S. Small Business Administration has matched a Small Business Size Standard of $16.5 million. The size standards are for the most part expressed in either millions of dollars or number of employees. A size standard is the largest that a concern can be and still qualify as a small business for Federal Government programs. How to calculate average annual receipts and average employment of a firm can be found in 13 CFR § 121.104 and 13 CFR § 121.106, respectively. How to respond: Responses to this notice shall be completed using the attached Sources Sought Response Worksheet, which is incorporated into this notice as Attachment 1. The worksheet includes the following: (a) company name; (b) address; (c) point of contact; (d) phone, fax, and email; (e) DUNS number; (f) Type of small business (Note: a single business may have more than one of the following small business types), e.g. Woman Owned small business, Service Disabled Veteran Owned small business, Veteran-owned small business, 8(a), HUBZone, Small disadvantaged business, or Small Business HUBZone business, and; (g) must provide a capability statement that addresses the organization's qualifications and ability to perform as a contractor for the work described herein. Documentation of technical expertise must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary functional area expertise and experience to compete for this acquisition.
