- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) webpage located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) website located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopses and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. This requirement is 100% set-aside for small business. FAR 52.219-6 (Notice of Total Small Business Set-Aside) is applicable to this purchase. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division intends to purchase two (2) high power GTEM Amplifiers, one (1) 1200 Watt 800MHz to 4.2GHz Amplifier, the second a 1000 Watt 2.5 “ 7.5GHz Amplifier with the specifications to be provided in the solicitation. The estimated required delivery date for the 800 MHz to 4.2GHz amplifier is 5 months ARO and for the 2.5GHz-7.5GHz amplifier is 7 months. All responsible sources must provide a written proposal to demonstrate their ability to meet the purchase specifications. In addition, all sources will be required to demonstrate their ability to meet the required delivery schedule. The NAICS code is 334220. The government reserves the right to award on an all or none basis or to make partial awards to fulfill the needs of the government. The award shall be firm fixed price. FOB Destination shall apply. This requirement shall be awarded under Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The solicitation number is N00178-11-R-3020. All interested parties shall contact the Contract Specialist at patricia.harper@navy.mil. In order to be eligible for award, firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). DoD will no longer make award to vendors not registered in CCR. Vendors may obtain information on registration in the CCR by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov.
