- The National Cemetery Administration is soliciting offers under Solicitation No. VA-786-11-RP-0203 for the following service: The contractor shall be required to supply Blank Marble Niche Covers made from Georgia Marble to Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, Dixon, California 95620. Potential offerors will submit, at contractor expense, one blank marble niche cover according to the specifications listed in paragraph 2.0 and 3.0 of the Statement of Work. The sample shall be representative of the stone to be used and the finish to be attained and the placement and diameter of the holes to be drilled. This sample should be received and approved prior to the closing date of the solicitation. The contractor shall be responsible for all work at the cemetery: Evaluation criteria for this award will be in the following order: 1)Price, 2) Technical Qualifications, and 3) Performance. This acquisition is 100% set aside for Small Business (SB). The NAICS Code is 327991. Size standard is 500 employees. Electronic solicitations will be available for download from http://www.fbo.gov on or about April 20, 2011. Responses to the solicitation are due on or about 2:00 P.M. on May 06, 2011. Any amendments to the solicitation will also be available at www.fbo.gov. Offerors are advised they are responsible for obtaining any amendments. ****NOTE - All potential offerors who have submitted and received approval notification for a sample of same type within the last 12 months may submit a copy of that approved review with the bid to avoid submitting another sample.*****
