- Description
- The Black Hills National Forest has an anticipated requirement to obtain services to accomplish stand treatments for a variety of forest health and fuels issues. The contractor would be responsible to cut, and in some units remove products other than Logs (POL). The project will entail (4) Base Bid items in 20 work units totaling 1,716 acres, and (3) Optional items containing 4 work units totaling an additional 806 acres. The Contractor will be required to furnish all technical expertise, labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, permits, licenses and incidentals necessary to complete the required work. SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS: The solicitation, AG-82X9-S-11-0037, and related documents will be issued via FedBizOpps as a Request For Proposal (RFP), resulting in a Firm Fixed Price contract. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 113310. The solicitation will be available for downloading on or about May 03, 2011, at the website address: http://www.fbo.gov/. NOTE: THIS IS A TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. A Pre-Proposal Visit date will be included in the solicitation. All vendors are required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database (CCR) prior to award of a Federal contract. Registration may be completed on the internet at http://www.ccr.gov/. A handbook and other information are available at the site, including information on how to obtain a DUNS number, which is required to begin the registration process. Vendors are required to register at the Online Representations and Certifications website (ORCA); registration may be completed on the internet at http://www.bpn.gov.
