Description
Proposals are being requested and this solicitation DTFAEN-11-R-00071 is being issued as a Request for Offer (RFO). FAA has a requirement to repair/refurbish Mobile Air Traffic Control Tower, College Park, GA. The NAICS code is 236220 and Size Standard $33.5M A description of the submittal requirements and evaluation factors can be found in Sections "L" and "M" of the Solicitation. Note: A tiered evaluation will be utilized, see Section "M" of the solicitation package. All questions shall be addressed to the Contracting Officer in writing via email or fax. This Posting is best viewed at FAA Contract Opportunities, https://faaco.faa.gov, No individual notification of any amendments will be provided. It is the Offerors' responsibility to visit this website frequently for updates on this procurement. Potential offerors should note that the FAA reserves the right to communicate with one or more offerors at any time during the SIR process. The Government reserves the right to award on a multiple award or an all or none basis. All firms must be registered in the Central Contract Registration database at www.ccr.gov and shall be considered for award. All proposals must be received no later than May 4, 2011, 4:30 EST. Any responses received after May 4, 2011, 4:30 EST, will not be considered in accordance with AMS provision 3.2.2.3-14, Late Submissions, Modifications, and Withdrawals of Submittals. If all requested information is not furnished, the vendor's response may be determined ineligible. This SIR is not to be construed as a contract or a commitment of any kind. The Government shall not be liable for payment of any costs attributed to the preparation and submission of proposals. This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
