TO ALL INTERESTED PARTIES This announcement is posted as a Request for Information only. This Request for Information is being issued to determine whether or not there are qualified sources that will be able to meet the requirements of an upcoming solicitation. The solicitation will be for Organ Transplant Services for inmates at the United States Medical Center for Federal Prisoners (USMCFP) located in Springfield, Missouri. Kidney transplants must be performed in facilities that are approved by CMS to perform transplants for Medicare beneficiaries, certified by a TRICARE Managed Care Support Contractor, or identified as a transplant center that is a member in good standing of the United Network for Organ Sharing (UMOS). The place of performance of transplant and related services will ordinarily be at the facilities of a transplant center and its providers which must be within a 300 mile driving distance of the USMCFP. The requirement will be for an estimated two (2) Organ Transplant Services for the one-year base period and one (1) for each of the four (4) one (1) year option periods. All future information about this acquisition will be distributed solely through this site.
