- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Army Electronic Proving Ground (EPG) at Forth Huachuca, AZ seeks to obtain Campbell Scientific, INC. RF500M modems and RF500B Base Stations (Brand Name or Equal) as upgrades to an already existing UHF/VHF weather data collection communications system. The modems are the communication interface between Campbell Scientific CR3000 datalogger, which collects and stores weather data from various weather sensors and a Midland DL3400 VHF radio, which transmits the data back to the weather stations RF500B Base Station. The requirement is for: 25 RF500M Modems 3 RF500B Base Stations 3 Wall Chargers The units above (Brand Name or Equal) MUST BE compatible with the following existing Campbell Scientific equipment: Campbell Scientific CR3000 Dataloggers Campbell Scientific data collection software (LOGGERNET) Midland DL3400 radios (programmed to interface with Campbell Scientific modems) Please see the attached Solicitation and Solicitation Amendment for complete details.
