- The Conservation Land Management Branch (CLM), Division of Training, National Conservation Training Center (NCTC), of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) in Shepherdstown, WV is seeking an experienced subject matter expert(s) for instruction for the course entitled Natural Resource Law (WLD2122). The dates for this class are July 26 - 28, 2011. The audience for this course is broadly defined as "personnel working with issues that require knowledge of laws, regulations and policies". The Natural Resource Law course provides an overview of the major federal conservation laws of interest to natural resource professionals. Sessions include information on case laws that are specific to Federal species and habitat protection, pollution control, and trust responsibilities. Discussions include an historical overview of the developments of wildlife and natural resource laws, legal authorities, and development in the courts, as well as current legal issues. Instruction is provided by lawyers and professionals in the field of natural resource law. The solicitation F11PS00577 issued concurrently with this announcement identifies the office where additional information can be obtained. Quotes for solicitations F11PS00577 and F11PS00578 may be combined and may result in one award. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by this agency.
