- This project consists of replacing two existing 36" culverts with a 112" x 75" x 54' Corrugated Steel Pipe Arch that will allow fish passage. Pipe arch will include a 18" high baffle system. Work includes culvert removal, construction and installation of new structure, rebuilding the road in the vicinity of the new structure, installing two driveable dips, and building grade control structures in the channel. The work also includes placing riprap and government furnished aggregate and all other work needed to complete the project as required by the contract, plans, and specifications. The project is located approximately 146 miles Northeast of Orofino, Idaho. From Orofino, Idaho travel east on US Highway 12 to Lolo Pass Visitor Center (Montana Border). Turn left off of US Highway 12 onto FS Road 595. This junction is located within 0.5 miles of the Idaho Montana border on the Montana side. Travel approximately 7.0 miles on FS Road 595 to project location. Price estimate for the project is $25,000 - $100,000. All work must be completed by October 31, 2011.
