- The projects consist of preparing Roads 108 and 568 for driveable dip and inslope improvements. Work will consist of preparing the roads for aggregate placement by blading the surfaces while maintaining insloping according to plans, reconstructing existing driveable dips, cleaning ditches, and catchbasins. Then hauling approximately 3,600 CY of stockpiled aggregate from the Powell Pasture stockpile and placing on Road 108 for 5.0 miles with finish blading at 2-4% inslope and roller compaction. Road 568 (optional) will require up to 1,000 CY of stockpiled aggregate from Powell Pasture stockpile and will be used to spot gravel driveable dips and other locations approved by the CO in the field along its 3.8 mile length with a finish blading at 2-4% inslope and roller compaction. The Road 108 project is located approximately 8.0 miles West of Powell Ranger Station. The project begins at the start of Road 108 where it junctions with Hwy 12 and goes for 5 miles to where the road begins to leave the creek. Refer to the location map on the title sheet of the plans. The Road 568 project is located approximately 2.0 West of Powell Ranger Station. The project begins at the start of Road 568 where it junctions with Hwy 12 and goes for 3.8 miles to where the road leaves the East Fork of ‘Imnamatnoon Creek. Refer to the location map on the title sheet of the plans. Price estimate for the project is $100,000 - $250,000. All work must be completed October 31, 2011.
