- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This buy is subject to the "Availability of Funds (APR 1984)" FAR clause 52.232-18. Solicitation/Purchase Request number FA8307-11-Q-1979 for office furniture is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-07 effective 15 May 2002. This requirement is set-aside for small business only. The NAICS Code for this synopsis/solicitation is 337211 (Size Standard = 500 Employees). The Government intends to award one contract for all office furniture. The procurement for the Office Furniture is required to have the specifications outlined below. This i! s a brand name or equal purchase. Office furniture specs call for a wood/veneer combination in order to be considered an equal item. Detailed specifications as well as detailed photos of all office furniture being offered are to be submitted with pricing. All items must be delivered no later than 14 calendar days after contract award. Deliver to the MITRE building (202 Burlington Rd Burlington, MA 01803), second floor of building D. The following provisions and clauses apply to this procurement: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors- Commercial. Evaluation/Award will be made to the responsible offeror whose offer is considered to represent the best value to the Government considering technical acceptability, delivery, and price. Technical and delivery, when combined are significantly more important than price. FAR 52-212-3 Offeror Representations and Certification-Commercial Items (all offerors shall include a completed copy of this provision with their proposal); ! FAR 52.212-4- Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5- Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, [in paragraphs (b) and (c) the following clauses apply; FAR 52.222-19, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52-222-36, 52.222-37, 52.232-33]. Also included are DFARS 252.204-7004, 252.225-7002, and 252.212-7001, [in paragraph (b) the following clause(s) apply: 252.225-7001].
