- THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract under statutory authority 10 USC 2304(c)(1), set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation 13.106-1, Soliciting Competition. Altus AFB, Oklahoma has a requirement for the purchase of extended warranty for the EST 2000 to include 1 year and concurrency for 10 lane system, M-9 Extended warranty for one year, M4 carbine extended warranty for one year, M16A2 extended warranty for one year, M4/M203 extended warranty for one year, M249 extended warranty for one year, M240B machine gun extended warranty for one year. The 97th Contracting Squadron intends to make an award to Cubic Simulation Systems Inc, 2001 Oak Ridge Rd, Suite 100, Orlando, FL 32809. Interested parties may e-mail bryon.nolan@altus.af.mil or fax (580) 481-5138, Attn: Bryon Nolan, not later than Tuesday, 26 April, 2011, 9:00 a.m. CST. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within the given time will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
