Description
Note: Contracting Officer is located at the following location: US Customs & Border Protection FICD, Suite 200 150 Westpark Way Euless, TX 76040-3721 817-860-8668 The quotation due date has been extended until Wednesday, 4/27/2011, 9:00am, Central/Dallas time. While this Notice was posted citing NAICS code 611430, CBP recognizes that additional NAICS codes may be applicable for this acquisition, including: 541618 - Other Management Consulting Services, 541690 - Other Scientific and Technical Consulting Services, 541990 - All Other Professional, Scientific and Technical Services, and 611519 - Other Technical and Trade Schools. Questions have been received and are answered as follows: 1) My questions regarding; Intelligence Analysis Training for Morocco, can you better project what time frame this Training is intended to take place? I understand that 25 April 2011 is application deadline, and training materials are to be delivered three weeks after the contract is awarded, that is May 16 2011. Could we reasonably expect to send instructors in country within 30 days of May 16th? CBP Response: The analysis in the question above is not correct. Quotations with proposals are now due 4/27/2011. The award process is expected to take 1 - 3 weeks (or longer) depending on whether revised proposals will be required. Once award is made, the completed training materials are to be received by the CBP Project Coordinator for translation into French (by CBP) within 21 calendar days after date of award. The CBP Project Coordinator shall then schedule the training class to start in as little as 21 calendar days but as much as 45 calendar days after receipt of the training materials. Based on this analysis, it is premature to identify a specific calendar date by which the class will start. 2) Second question, is this a one time event or can we expect that this training will need repeating or follow on training? CBP Response: CBP has no known additional requirements at this time. No Other Changes
