Description
United States Government Seeks Expressions of Interest for Parking Spaces in West Palm Beach, FL The United States Government (The Department of Veterans Affairs) is seeking to lease a total of approximately 765 surface parking spaces in close proximity to the VA Medical Center, located at 7305 N Military Trail, West Palm Beach, FL. The spaces will be for use as a commuter hub for employees, Veterans, and other stakeholders traveling to the West Palm Beach VAMC from the surrounding areas. The requirement is for a maximum of 765 spaces which must be available from 6:00 am “ 12:00 am, Monday through Friday, at any location within or bordering the delineated area and boundary intersections specified below. Parcels that border the delineated area on either side will also be considered. The lease term shall be for a firm term of three (3) years, with two (2) one-year options. The surface parking spaces provided need to be in a safe, secure location, with convenient access to the West Palm Beach VAMC facility. The proposed location needs to be properly zoned to allow for commuter/ commercial parking. The VAMC will arrange for a commuter bus to shuttle to and from the commuter locations and the Medical Center. The parking offered does not have to be designated garage space and any reasonably paved, surface parking accommodations, meeting the size and location requirements will be considered. The site must be paved and operational prior to the anticipated date of occupancy. The successful offeror will be responsible for all costs associated with paving the site and providing security. The method of security will be determined upon physical inspection of the site. The successful offeror will also be responsible for placing a shelter from inclement weather on the premises, as well as ensuring the premises provides sufficient lighting for a commercial parking facility. Delineated Area: North: Northlake Blvd. West: Steeplechase Drive East : Military Trail South: Bee Line Hwy Boundary Intersections: NE Intersection “ N. Military Trail and Northlake Blvd NW Intersection “ Northlake Blvd. and Steeplechase Drive SW Intersection “ Steeplechase Drive and Bee Line Highway SE Intersection - Bee Line Highway and N. Military Trail Expressions of Interest Should Include: 1. Site plan of the parking location and its address. 2. Total number of surface parking spaces being offered. 3. Annual rate per space. Note: The government will pay no more than the appraised fair market rental value for parking spaces.
