- PWS for television subscription services This Sources Sought Request for Information (RFI) is issued for informational purposes to locate capable businesses. The Air Force is conducting market research and desires input from the industry to assist in requirements planning. The information requested by this synopsis will be used within the Air Force to facilitate the decision making process and will not be disclosed outside of the agency. Please note: This RFI is not a commercial solicitation and the Air Force will not be responsible for any costs incurred by any responding interested parties. Headquarters Air Mobility Command (HQ AMC) is interested in the identification of capable sources having the technology, qualification and capabilities to provide commercial television channels via satellite services. The commercial television subscription service will provide situational awareness for users of the command's existing internet protocol television system (IPTV). 1. Description: The HQ AMC requires a licensed contractor to provide and install the required equipment and subscription services in accordance with the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS) to support 8 channels of commercial television (satellite-cable-other) for AMC to redistribute to 1000 users at 13 Continental United States (CONUS) Air Force Bases. 2. Information requested: a. Company information: Name, address, telephone number, FAX number, point of contact(s) name(s), phone number, e-mail address. b. Capability Information should include a brief description of experience in providing the requirements similar to the requirement described above. Please include contract references relating to commercial television subscription services to include: i. Contract number and Contract Type ii. Agency/Company supported iii. Period of performance iv. Original contract value v. Point of Contact (POC) with current phone/fax number vi. Brief description of the effort. The capability package must be clear, concise, and complete. The Air Force is under no obligation to provide feedback to the company, or to contact the company for clarification of any information submitted in response to this request. Capability packages should be limited to no more than 10 pages. c. Identification of business size and whether currently designated a small business as defined the Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR Part 19 and also currently registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) system. Small business size standards are published by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and may be found at www.sba.gov/size/sizetable2002.html. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 515210. Small Business size is $15M annually. d. Identify any additional technical information needed to submit a proposal not currently in the PWS document. e. Identify Major Risks: Provide general information to identify any major risks anticipated. f. Any special contract terms and conditions that would need to be included in a subsequent solicitation. g. Insight as to the commerciality of this item, i.e. do you currently provide this item to any customer other than the Federal Government? h. Identify the number of days needed for installation, activation, testing, and burn-in period. i. Provide General Services Administration (GSA) contract number if applicable. j. Any other information deemed useful to the Air Force. k.
