- This is a modification to the synopsis entitled RESEARCH FACILITIES AND ENGINEERINGSUPPORT SERVICES (RF&ESS), which was initially posted on February 23, 2011. You arenotified that the following changes clarify information relative to the Industry Daymeeting:1. Those participants with current NASA contractor badges issued by other centers,facilities or Headquarters need not submit a visitor request form. They should, however,provide the names and cell phone numbers of attendees and indicate whether a one-on-onesession with the Government is requested.2. Despite the usual 35 days needed to process foreign national requests, if they aresubmitted by 3:30 pm (PDT) this Friday, April 22, every effort will be made toaccommodate attendance.3. Registration for the one-on-one sessions with Government representatives will be on afirst come, first serve basis (as indicated by when the company's registration wasreceived by the Government), within the 5-hour time constraint allocated. The Governmentcan not guarantee sessions with companies submitting later requests.4. One-on-one sessions will be held in Building 4839, located outside the DFRC perimeterfence (just accross the north parking lot from the ISF). The format and content ofcompany presentations (as well as its method) is at each company's discretion.Theconference room in Building 4839 is equipped with a projection device for use with laptopcomputers in making any desired presentations.Time will be provided between sessionsfor companies to arrange their presentations. The May 11, 2011 due date for registering is not extended by this modification.Documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. Thesedocuments will reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWWbrowser application. The Internet site, or URL, for the NASA/DFRC Business Opportunitieshome page is http://prod.nais.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/eps/bizops.cgi?gr=D&pin=24 Offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation andany amendments. Potential offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy ofthe solicitation and amendments (if any).
