- This acquisition is a 100% small business set-aside. Solicitation number: F1S0AQ1042B001. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotes (RFQ). This solicitation also uses the simplified acquisition procedures contained in Part 13. All responsible sources may submit a firm-fixed price (FFP) quote which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-51 and DFARs Change Notice (DCN) 20110331, AFAC 2011-0214. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: (i) technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government requirement (ii) price. NAICS is 332912 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. Delivery: 6 WARO, acceptance is FOB Destination, Edwards AFB, CA 93524. The AFFTC/PKE, Edwards Air Force Base, CA is seeking to purchase: Eight (8) 80 foot high-pressure, hydraulic hoses with fittings on each end of the hose. Hose Assembly Requirements are as follow: Hose: a. Size-24 high temperature b. 2 high tensile steel braided wire c. 80 foot long hose d. Inside diameter 1.5" x outside diameter 2.15" e. Minimum bend radius 20" f. Temperature range -40 degrees Fahrenheit to +275 degrees Fahrenheit, constant plus 300 degrees Fahrenheit intermittent g. Maximum working pressure 1,300 PSI - minimum burst pressure 5,000 PSI h. Meet or exceed requirements called for in the SAE 100R2AT and performance requirements called for in EN853 Fittings: a. Female JIC/SAE 37 degree swivel (FJ) b. Thread 1/78 - 12 c. Hose size -24 Assembly: a. Eight (8) each assemblies required b. One fitting as described above crimped onto each end of each 80 foot hose. Quantity: 8 Hose Assemblies No partial quotes for the items listed above will be accepted. FOB destination: Edwards AFB, CA 93524. Interested parties who believe they can meet all the requirements for the items described in this synopsis are invited to submit a complete quote including delivery FOB destination Edwards AFB, CA 93524. Offerors are required to submit with their quote enough information for the Government to evaluate the minimum requirements detailed in this synopsis.
