Description
CONTRACT HAS BEEN AWARDED........ Original synopsis: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial procurement prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement is the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is N63394-11-T-5012 and is issued as a request for quotes (RFQ). This acquisition is firm-fixed price and solicited as 100% small business set-aside for 8(a) businesses, FAR 19.502-2(a). The Government will award on a single purchase order to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the requirement/statement of work stated in this synopsis and is the most advantageous to the Government based on technically acceptable, lowest price, and lead time. The offeror must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 238210 and the small business size standard in millions is $14.0. Site Visit: A site visit will be held on Monday, March 14, 2011 at 1:00pm, Pacific Standard Time at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Corona Division: 1999 Fourth St. Bldg 202 Norco, CA. 92860. All prospective contractors are urged to attend. Questions from site visit must be sent via email to: Marlena Warren at Marlena.warren@navy.mil and must received by 4:00pm, Pacific Standard Time Wednesday, March 16, 2011. The proposed contractor must contact the contact person 48 hours prior to appointment to be put on the visitors list. The point of contact is Marlena Warren (951) 273-4496 or Marlena.warren@navy.mil. The contractor will be required to furnish, full name, company name, reason for visit, driver ™s license, proof of U.S. citizenship, vehicle registration and current insurance information prior to site visit and on the day of visit. Any quotes that do not meet this set-aside requirement will not be considered. Quotes are due no later than 12:00 P.M. Pacific Standard Time (PST), Friday, March 22, 2011. Responses/offers shall be submitted electronically to Marlena.warren@navy.mil. Quotes must be valid for sixty (60) days after due date. Any amendment (s) issued to this RFQ will be published on this website. Therefore, it is the offeror ™s responsibility to visit this website frequently for updates on this procurement.
