- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under authority FAR 13, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on both FEDBIZOPPS and NECO (http://www.neco.navy.mil/). The RFQ number is N00244-11-T-0205. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-51 and DFARS Change Notice 20110317. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The NAICS code is 333312 and the Small Business Standard is 500. This is a competitive, restricted action. The proposed contract action is for a brand name or equal product. The brand name, model number, and salient characteristics of the product(s) are: UniMac Washer Extractor SX35PV and Speed Queen 75lb Electric Tumbler Dryers ST075RQ to be compatible with ECOLAB parts and chemicals. FAR 52.211-6 -- Brand Name or Equal is hereby incorporated by reference. Provide information required by FAR 52.211-6 when submitting offers for brand name or equal products. The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center San Diego (FISCSD) requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing: CLIN 0001 UniMac Washer Extractor SX35PV- Speed Queen. SS Cylinder, Front, Top 363 G-Force Extraction, 5.83 cu.ft. cylinder volume, computer controlled, 208-240/60/3/1ph gravity drain Soft Mount Washer Extractor for increased extraction and minimal vibration QTY: 2 EA; CLIN 0002 Speed Queen 75lb Electric Tumbler Dryers ST075RQ- Reversing Cylinder, Dual Digital Display 75 lb galvanized cylinder, 480/60/3ph. QTY: 2 EA. CLIN 0003 Installation: Set machines in place, connect to existing utilities located directly behind trough. Test, bolt washers where necessary. Connect 8 dia flex vending to outlets, connect electrical and test. CLIN 0004 Freight.
