****ATTENTION****ALL FORMAL COMMUNICATION RELATED TO THIS ACQUISITION MUST BE DIRECTED TO: Demetrice Watson, Contracting Officer, email: demetrice.watson@us.army.mil. No telephone calls will be accepted. PRON: AX1T6027AX, NOUN: Pump, Fuel, NSN: 2910-01-0507-7648; P/N: 104030-1; CH-47 Turbine Engine; Quantity: 67 Min Qty/307 Max Qty on a 5 year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract applicable to CH-47 with deliveries to Cherry Point, NC. Required delivery is 67 each 175 Days After Contract Award (DACA) and up to 60 each year until contract completion. This requirement is restricted to: AAR Parts Trading, DBA AAR Defense Systems & Logistics (CAGE Code: 1Y249) and Transdigm, Inc. DBA Aerocontrolex (CAGE Code: 81833) because this part must be acquired from a manufacturing source(s) specified on a source control or selected item drawing as defined by the current version of the DoD-STD-100. Suitable technical data, Government data rights, or manufacturing knowledge are not available to permit acquisition from other sources, nor qualification testing of another part, nor use of a second source part in the intended application. Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under Standard Aviation and Missile Source Approval Request (SAMSAR). All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of solicitation however; solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. Foreign firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies.
