Poster announcing Small Business Road Tour to internal IRS Program Managers. The IRS Small Business Program Office is hosting a SMALL BUSINESS ROAD TOUR/EXPO. The purpose of the The Tour is to bring together 8(a), HUBZone and SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN-OWEND small businesses to display their marketing capabilities at vendor booths and speak with NON-IT Program Managers on how they can help with upcoming acquisitions. The small business office is offering to IRS Program Managers the opportunity schedule a Small Busines Showcase for their specific office that will allow vendors to conduct a 5 minute presentation on their company capabilities to the Program Office. Therefore, your company MAY have the opportunity to offer a more detailed look at their capabilities, if requested by the Program Office. WHERE: IRS Headquarters, 1111 Constitution Ave., NW, Washington, DC 20224 DATES: Tuesday, May 10, 2011 AND Tuesday, May 17, 2011 TIME: 10:00am - 2:00pm NEW REGISTRATION OPEN DATE: Registration opens at 12:00 noon, Eastern Standard time, Tuesday, April 19, 2011 and closes at 5:00pm Eastern Standard Time, Wednesday, April 27, 2011. Registrations must be sent to AWSS.SBRO@IRS.GOV. The Email must include the full name of the person(s) planning on attending the Road Tour/Expo. NOTE: While the Tour will be held on May 10th & May 17th, you can only register for 1 day. Regisration Information: The small business MUST be a SBA-certified 8(a) concern, SBA-certified HUBZone concern, or a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned business who's primary NAICS code is of a NON-Information Technology nature, i.e. THIS CONFERENCE IS FOR 8(a), HUBZone and/or Service-Disabled Veteran Owned concerns OFFERING SERVICES OTHER THAN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY. Socio-economic status will be confirmed before confirmation of your registration. Security information will be sent with your confirmation email. DUE TO SPACE LIMITATIONS, THERE ARE ONLY 10 BOOTHS AVAILABLE PER SESSION! REGISTRATIONS ARE ACCEPETED ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS. ONLY 2 PERSONS PER COMPANY WILL BE ALLOWED TO REGISTER.
