- Small Businesses Sources Sought: This is a Sources Sought announcement seeking only qualified Small Business responses in order to determine Small Business and/or other socioeconomic (8a/HubZone/SDVOSB) set aside action for this acquisition. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command Center Ft Dix, NJ intends to procure services for Custodial Services at Ft. Meade, MD. The services to be performed require the Contractor to furnish all labor, tools, materials, equipment, and supervision to manage and perform custodial services at Ft. Meade in Anne Arundel County, MD. Services include but are not limited to: Weekly, Monthly, Semi-Monthly, Semi-Annual, and Annual Services to include the following: Wet mop restroom floors, service restroom dispensers, restroom cleaning, waste removal, clean drinking fountains, wipe restroom vertical serfaces, dust mop floors, damp mop floors, clean shower walls, spray wax and buff floors and hallways, strip and wax/seal floors, and strip and wax/seal restroom floors. The Government anticipates the award of a Firm Fixed Price contract to the successful offeror of this requirement. The period of performance is for a base year period of twelve (12) months with two (2) options years. All work is to be performed in accordance with the Performance Work Statement. The designated NAICS Code is 561720, with a small business size standard of $16.5 million. Your response shall include the following information: socioeconomic status of company (i.e., 8(a), HUBZONE, WOSB, Veteran Owned, Small Disadvantaged Business, Service Disabled Veteran Owned, etc.), company CAGE code, relevant past performance on same/similar work in the last three years (include contract number, dollar value, and contracting officer and customer name, phone number, and email address. Responses shall be limited to 2 pages and emailed to michael.p.furey@us.army.mil no later than (NLT) 12:00 noon PM Eastern Standard Time, 21 April, 2011. Any questions shall be directed to Michael Furey, Contract Specialist, via email at michael.p.furey@us.army.mil IF A SOLICITATION IS ISSUED IT WILL BE ANNOUNCED AT A LATER DATE IN A SEPARATE ANNOUNCEMENT, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement. It is incumbent upon the interested parties to review the site frequently for any updates and amendments to any and all documents. All potential offerors are reminded, in accordance with FAR 52.204-7, Central Contractor Registration, lack of registration in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) will make an offeror ineligible for contract award. Additionally, in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 52.204-8, Annual Representations and Certifications, offerors are also reminded to register with Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at https://orca.bpn.gov. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement.
