- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to negotiate and issue an order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-08-G-0013 with Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems (IDS) Portsmouth, RI. The order is for three (3) Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) solely for the incorporation of changes. The ECPs are for incorporation of Reeling Machine brake clutch assembly reliability upgrade; integrate/install software on Reeling Machine Interface Unit (RMIU) and Reeling Machine Control Unit (RMCU), and to install upgraded kits to Reeling Machine lifting saddles. As the sole manufacturer and developer of the ALFS system, IDS is the only known source with the technical data, knowledge and technical experience necessary to perform this effort within the time frame required to meet the Governments needs.
