- The item being procured is an Elevating and Traversing Mechanism, NSN 1005-00-603-4834 to be procured in accordance with Drawing 19200 11010037 and all current related data. Quantity is 1913 ea, Delivery is to be 300 days, FOB Destination, Inspection and Acceptance at Origin. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered. This solicitation is a 100% Hub-Zone Set Aside. This solicitation will be available on the Internet at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp after the issue date. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. Technical drawings/specifications are available. Based on Market Research this item is manufactured for military use only and is not commercial; therefore, the Government is not using the policies contained in FAR Part 12. in its solicitation for this item. However, interested persons may identify to the Contracting Officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance. All offers shall be in the English language and in US dollars. 100% Option may be exercised at the discretion of the Government. The solicitation will be available in FedBizOps on its issue date of 4-29-11.
