- FA3047-11-B-0008 Project Magnitude: Between $250,000 and $500,000. Period of Performance: 120 days. (All days noted represent calendar days). Project Scope: Construction Design/Build Description of Work: Contractor shall provide a complete design (Title I services A & B) for this design build contract to renovate DLI (Defense Language Institute) computer server room improvements of electrical and HVAC systems in RM 131, BLDG 7445 Lackland AFB. Contractor shall provide a complete design for the computer server room renovation and improvement of Electrical and HVAC systems. Contractor shall demo all existing branch ductwork and air devices servingn room 131. Contactor shall perform detailed colling load analysis for the new data center. Customer will provide detailed head generation data for equipment to be installed in the new dat center. Contractor shall develop detailed mechanical plands and specifications for the new data center for review and approval prior to the start of construction. Contractor shall install specified equipment in accordance with design documents. The contractor shall evaluate and design the electrical system necessary for the proposed computer room. Note: The solicitation with the official specifications and drawings will be available on the World Wide Web on or about 2 May 2011 at http://www.fbo.gov. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation that will be considered by this Agency. All prospective offerors interested in submitting an offer on this solicitation must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database with a commercial and government entity code (CAGE CODE).
