PR Number(s): FD20301071462 and FD20301181284. NSN: 2840010039130 NY; DISK, TURBINE, ACFT P/N: 9137M82P02. Turbine Disk for TF39 Engine; AMC code 3V. Sole Source solicitation to GE. This part has been designated a high reliability part under a formal reliability program. Probability of failure would be unacceptable from the standpoint of safety of personnel and/or equipment. The cognizant engineering activity has determined that data to define and control reliability limits cannot be obtained nor is it possible to draft adequate specifications for this purpose. NSN: 2840-01-003-9130 NY. OEM Code: 07482. PN: 9137M82P02. Description: Turbine Disk function is to support turbine blades which convert turbine gases into torque to drive fan rotor. Dimensions are approximately 31.50 inches long, 31.50 inches wide and 4.50 inches high. Weight approximately 47.75 pounds. Material is Inconel 718. Quantity: 85 each ; Destination: Tinker AFB OK. Delivery Schedule: 10 each monthly beginning 30 March 2012. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to Free Trade Agreements. An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
