- Drawings - PR#17039 PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Project consists of the following work items: 1. Remove the existing masonry mortar per General and Construction Notes as listed on the contract drawing and re-point the existing brick masonry with new mortar. Surface limit to be re-pointed is as listed on the drawing (approximate work area 5000.00 sq. ft). The actual quantity may vary subject to site conditions. Therefore the bidder shall submit unit price and total amount. WORK SEQUENCE: The Work will be conducted in such a manner to provide the least possible interference to the activities of the Government's personnel and to cause no damage to the government property. 1. Dispose the removed material off Government Property at no extra cost to the Government. 2. Furnish and install new re-pointing material and expansion joint material. 3. Protect the newly installed roof surface from damage caused by falling debris and scaffolding. 4. Wash the work area to remove the dust particles from the face of brick masonry.
