- Pre Solicitation Notice The Department of Transportation, United States Merchant Marine Academy Kings Point, NY, has a requirement to provide all On-Site Medica/Dental Services in care of Midshipmen as well as qualified staff. Contractor shall provide Medical /Dental services and all necessary equipment for Midshipmen to include qualified staff. Services are to include off site hospital based care for services requiring treatment that would exceed capacity of the outpatient clinic. The contract period will be for one (1) year from the date of contract award with four (4) 12-month renewal option year - to be exercised at the discretion of the government. NAICS Code 621399 applies with a size standard of $7.5 Million. This procurement will be conducted in accordance with FAR Parts 12, 13 and 15. The solicitation document will be available on or about Monday May 9, 2011. A deadline for solicitation questions will be provided. All questions shall be submitted to the Contracting Officer prior to the deadline. The Department of Transportation (DOT), Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
