Description
This is a Sources Sought Notice The Great Lakes Acquisition Center is seeking qualified Architectural/Engineering firms that are CVE verified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business or Veteran Owned Small Business to provide planning, design and oversee construction of MEP engineering services and related architectural services for various projects at Jesse Brown VAMC, Chicago, IL. The Engineering firm must be located within a 100 mile radius of Jesse Brown VAMC, Chicago, IL, 60612. The firm shall be listed in CCR under NAICS code 541330 and be capable of providing professional services necessary for the design of various in-house projects at Jesse Brown VA Medical Center and associated CBOC facilities that are primarily Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing/ Fire Protection) in scope and may have related Architectural design services. Scope of work may include the Field Verification of existing conditions, preparation of schematic designs, space plans, construction documents, specifications, cost estimates, review of shop drawings & sample submittals, site visits and preparation of punch lists etc. for final acceptance. Prime contractor should have registered architects and engineers as members of the firm or team. Prospective firms are reminded that as per FAR 52.219-14: By submission of an offer and execution of a contract, the Offeror/Contractor agrees that in performance of the contract in the case of a contract for- (1) Services (except construction). At least 50 percent of the cost of contract performance incurred for personnel shall be expended for employees of the concern. If your firm can meet the criteria above, provide the following information: 1) SDVOSB or VOSB CVE verification. 2) Short narrative on company to include as a minimum: a) number of staff on company payroll, b) number of years as an Engineering firm. 3) A detailed description (including size, scope and dollar value) of the firm's experience in designing projects of a similar size. 4) Name and address of your firm. 5) DUNS Number. 6) Name and phone number of a point of contact in case further information in needed. This Sources Sought Request is issued solely for information and planning purposes only to determine availability of qualified SDVOSB and VOSB firms and does not constitute a solicitation. All information received in response to this Sources Sought Request that is marked as proprietary will be handled accordingly. Please note that this is not a request for proposal and the Government is seeking information for market research purposes only. The Government may or may not issue solicitation documents.
