- Description
- The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) plans to award a sole source purchase order to Pavement Recycling and Reclaiming Center (PRRC) to update the Basic Asphalt Recycling Manual (BARM). PRRC is the only know source that is available to provide the BARM update. All responsible sources may submit a response identifying their interest and capability to respond to this requirement, which will be considered by FHWA. Information received by FHWA will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The proposed contract action is for products and services FHWA intends to solicit and negotiate with only once source under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulations 6.302-1 and 13.501. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. This is a Simplified Acquisition and the anticipated award date is May 2, 2011.
