- A Solicitation with Attachment and updated PWS have beenposted on April 18, 2011. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) intends to competitively solicit and award a Firm Fixed Price, single award indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) commercial contract for Exhibit Support Services. These services involve designing, building, maintaining, modifying, and setting up exhibits for use in trade shows, conventions and symposia. Exhibits are based on modular exhibit systems that are customized for each show to meet the marketing objectives of SPAWAR and its supported PEOs and System Centers. The contractor shall provide storage of the exhibit systems and support materials on a year-round basis such that they are reasonably protected from extremes of moisture and temperature, known pests, vandalism, unauthorized use or appropriation and destruction from fire or flood. Exhibiting schedules are fluid, often involving quick turnaround times and critical deadlines. Work may involve overtime or travel. This requirement is a follow on to Contract N00039-06-D-0093 with Digital Outfit. The prospective contract will have a base period of twelve (12) months and four (4) one-year options. The total estimated value of award over the five years is $2.5M. The NAICS code is 541850. The award will be based on best value competition. An Industry Day will be held for this solicitation on Friday, February 18, 2011, from 10 am 12 pm at Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, 4301 Pacific Highway, San Diego, California, in conference room Cantrell C. Industry Day is open to interested, prospective offerors and will include a briefing on the requirements and contracting process. Government personnel will be available to answer questions. In addition to familiarizing Industry with this procurement, the Government desires to ascertain whether sufficient breadth of capability exists to conduct this procurement as a competitive small business set-aside. Reservations are required to attend this event. All interested parties must submit SPAWAR visit requests to Tina Stillions at tina.stillions@navy.mil by COB February 14, 2011. A draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) describing the Government's requirements is attached to this solicitation. Industry feedback on the draft PWS is encouraged, and may be sent to the point of contact for this procurement; Maureen Cameron, Contract Negotiator, at maureen.cameron@navy.mil anytime before March 4, 2011. Contract award is expected in 4th Qtr. GFY 11.
