- THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. No Solicitation is currently available. Revised Scope of Work Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Integrated Network 21, Network Contracting will be issuing a Request for Proposals for Project Number 570-CSI-216; Project Title MH No. 3 Mental Health Access Improvements: Demolition Building No. 11 and Construct Parking Structure at the VA Central California Health Care System located at 2615 E. Clinton Avenue, Fresno, CA. Scope of Work includes all labor, supervision, administration, tools, materials, equipment, general construction, grading, structural, civil, site utility, electrical, and expertise to demolish building 11 and construct a new parking structure as required by the specifications, drawings and contract documents. The demolition of building 11, which is approximately 3,500 GSF, includes hazardous material removal and disposal (asbestos abatement and lead removal). The parking structure will be above-grade, two-level, poured and pre-cast hybrid moment frame, approximately 121,500 GSF (351 car lot), with expansion for two more levels to be built over an existing Building 11. The NAICS code for this procurement will be 237990. Project Magnitude is $2,000,000 -$5,000,000. The Government intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for award of a firm fixed price contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, specifications, drawings and schedules of the solicitation, Subject to the Availability of Funds. This RFP will utilize Best-Value, Lowest Price Technically Acceptable, Source Selection Process. THIS SOLICITATION IS A TOTAL SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE, in accordance with Public Law 109-461. Effective 10/1/10, the apparent successful offeror must apply for and have received verification status from the Center of Veterans Enterprise (CVE) prior to receiving award. Interested firms shall submit by email only, the following information: confirmation that your firm can perform under NAICS code 237990, DUNS number, and, ability to perform precast concrete parking garage sent to ashok.singh@va.gov by close of business April 22nd, 2011.
