- Intent to Sole Source: The Department of Veterans Affairs, John D. Dingell Medical Center, 4646 John R. Street, Detroit, MI 48201, intends to sole source to Steris Corporation 5960 Heisley Rd., Mentor, OH 44060-1834. Steris Corporation shall provide site preparation work to install Operating Room lights. The Steris Corporation will provide Steris Certified workers to modify and install a mount structure to support a unique 3 light boom with auxiliary monitor at the VA Medical Center, Detroit, MI., which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority FAR 6.302-1. All FAR provisions and clauses maybe reviewed and/or obtained from he General Service internet address: http://www.gover/far. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the government not to compete this proposal contract, based upon responses to this notice, is solely with the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All responses must be submitted no later than (May 2, 2011 “ 8 AM EST), to the contracting officer indicated above. No E-Mail request will be accepted.
