- Description
- FT Polk, LA will soon be issuing an Invitation For Bid (IFB) for mowing and herbicide services. This will be solicitation number W9124E-11-B-0002. All other details and information will be released in the solicitation on FED BIZ OPPS. This will be a 100% small business set-aside. The Period of Performance for the base year is 20 May 2011-19 May 2012 with two one year options. The solicitation will be posted on or about 18 April 2011. The requirements consist of grass cutting to specified heights, herbicidal treatment, and policing of grounds for mowing. The IFB will be found at the Government website www.fbo.gov. The NAICS code for this requirement is 561730. The small business size standard is $7.0 million. Solicitation will be conducted under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 and 14. The closing date for receipt of proposals will be approximately thirty (30) days after issuance/posting of the IFB.
