- Note: The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport, Rhode Island is NOT accepting quotes or proposals via submission through NECO. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport, RI intends to solicit offers for a five-year Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) firm fixed price DT 513 D/E/F hydrophones under a build to performance specification approach. The following informational drawings shall be provided: NAVSEA Drawing No. 53711-5808784H and 53711-819244. The drawings are not available for posting on our website due to restricted distribution statements. In order to receive a copy of the drawings, your company must be certified under the Joint Certification Program (JCP). Send an email request for the drawings to Brett Griffin at brett.griffin@navy.mil the request for proposal (RFP) number N66604-11-R-0679, and include your company name, address, JCP and CAGE code number, telephone number, and point of contact. CD-ROMs will be sent once JCP registration is confirmed. The solicitation shall also include a cost plus fixed fee task for design studies and engineering changes if needed during contract performance for those services. This acquisition shall be solicited on an unrestricted basis. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 334511, size standard is 750 employees. The anticipated posting date of solicitation N66604-11-R-0679 is on or about 3 MAY 2011 with a closing date or on about 3 JUN 2011. The award decision will be made on a Best Value determination in consideration of both cost and technical factors. Technical criteria for evaluation of proposals shall be technical approach, facilities and past performance. All responsible sources may submit a proposal or quotation. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the FEDBIZOPPS and NECO website. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring the site for any amendments.
