- PRESOLICITATION NOTICE EXPAND STERILE PROCESSING/ DISTRIBUTION (558-10-103) The Department of Veterans Affairs, 508 Fulton Street, Durham, North Carolina has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, material, supplies, equipment, transportation, permits, license and qualified supervision for Project 558-10-103, Expand Sterile Processing/ Distribution at the Durham VA Medical Center, Durham, North Carolina. The work will consist of general demolition, construction, interior finishes, fire protection, plumbing, HVAC and electrical work necessary to renovate approximately 10,000 SF of space in the C-wing & D-wing of the 2nd floor of the main hospital building. All work performed must meet all applicable codes and regulations and be in strict accordance with the contract drawing and specifications. The period of performance is 270 days for the entire project. Estimated construction cost is between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000. This is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside. The specifications, drawings and amendments/notices, if any, will be posted on this web site. Bid opening will be on/about 30 May 2011 and the deadline for receipt of questions is 10 days prior to bid opening. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for proposals. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation. No bidders list is maintained.
