- The Missile Defense Agency intends to issue a DRAFT solicitation for industry feedback or about May 2011. The MDA anticipates issuance of a FINAL RFP in June 2011. This requirement will be competitively solicited and awarded as a small business set-aside. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. An Industry Day is being planned for June 2011 to discuss general acquisition requirements. Questions to the draft solicitation may be submitted electronically prior to the industry day to Belinda Williams at belinda.williams@mda.mil and copy Emily McGee at Emily.mcgee@mda.mil. Written questions may also be submitted at the industry day. Additional information regarding the location, date, number of attendees per company, etc. will be published in the FedBizOps prior to the industry day. The Government intends to provide responses to industry questions as soon as possible. Government responses to unclassified questions will be posted in sets to FedBizOpps. Interested offerors are encouraged to register at the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at https://www.fbo.gov/to receive email notifications when information related to this acquisition is updated or documents related to this acquisition are issued and available for download. As a rule, the MDA will not send solicitation or amendments directly to Offerors and it is the interested offeror's responsibility to periodically check teh FBO website for updates.
