- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. RESPONSES SHOULD INCLUDE A COPY OF YOUR COMMERCIAL PRICELIST OR PRICE SUPPORT ALONG WITH YOUR COMPANY'S CAGE CODE, TAXPAYER IDENTIFICATION NUMBER, AND DUNS NUMBER. Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Number W9124P-11-T-0022 is to be a Sole-Source procurement to Thermoteknix Systems LTD., in accordance with FAR Part 13. AMRDEC is working with the US Air Force and the Japanese Ministry of Defense on a joint program. AMRDEC is purchasing this hardware to seamlessly integrate with a system designed specifically for these Miricle 307 KC cameras. Using any other uncooled infrared camera would result in a substantial system-wide redesign. The corresponding NAICS code for this procurement is 333314. The US Army Contracting Command-Redstone is soliciting a quote from Thermoteknix Systems LTD. for the purchase of: four (4) MC 03 0101, Miricle 307 KC OEM infrared camera; four (4) MC 03 0233_1, mating connectors and pins for multiway interface, ribbon cable and power supply; four (4) QM 51 0045, OEM LVDS Camera option; four (4) QM 51 0041, OEM Genlock (external synch) option; one (1) QM 51 0033, Miricle Developer for WinXP; one (1) BC 03 0003_2, Lemo connector PSU card. Configured for use with Analogue and LVDS output; one (1) MC 03 0115, Camera cable. Lemo camera to demux; one (1) MC 03 0113, LVDS demux, including power cable; one (1) MC 03 0117, LVDS 100 pin SCSI plug to a 68way Hirose DX30AM-68P; one (1) QM 51 0072, LVDS interface. Pleora PT1000-LV LVDS to video over IP converter; one (1) QM 51 0072C, Pleora power cable; two (2) MC 03 0356, 14.95mm f1.3 athermal manual focus lens; two (2) MC 03 0075, 50mm f1.0 manual focus lens; four (4) OC 73 0162, Tripod adaptor, boss standard UNC; four (4) XTi, Shutterless Operation. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-51. Any award resulting from this RFQ will be issued on Standard Form 1449 and will contain all clauses required by law, the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) as appropriate for the dollar value of the award. Provision 52.209-2, Prohibition on Contracting with Inverted Domestic Corporations - Representation; Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial; Provision 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial items; Provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items; Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items; Clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items; Clause 52.232-36, Payment by Third Party; and Clause 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items are applicable to this acquisition. Other clauses may be included in the award if applicable. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement and quotation which shall be considered by the agency. In the event more than one quote is received, the following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: technical capability of the items offered to meet the Government requirement, price, and delivery. All items shall include shipping costs FOB Destination to Redstone Arsenal, AL. Payment will be made via Government Purchase Card. Responses are due no later than 2:30 PM (local time), 25 April, 2011 in the contracting office, Building 5400, Room B-142, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, 35898.
