- ISSUE DATE: 02 May 2011. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision and disposal required for removal of an existing asphalt and precast concrete boat ramp and installation of a new precast boat ramp, asphalt apron, rock rip rap and incidental related work with an optional bid item for the installation of a boarding floating dock at USCG Detachment Sandy Hook, Highlands, New Jersey. Only pre-cast structural concrete is acceptable in accordance with project specifications. Cast in place concrete is not acceptable. Under state and federal rules for conducting work in regulated waters, a cofferdam is not authorized. The performance period for this project is 90 calendar days. The estimated cost range of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. Solicitation packages will be available on or about 2 May 2011. The tentative date set for bid opening is scheduled for June 2, 2011 at 2:00 pm. The applicable NAICS code is 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction. The small business size standard is a three year averaged annual gross receipt of $18.5 million. Bid, Payment, and Performance bonds are required. The period of performance time is 90 calendar days after issuance of Notice to Proceed. This acquisition is issued pursuant to FAR Part 14 and is 100% set-aside for Small Business Concerns.
