- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, in conjunction with FAR 13, as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation number M00681-11-T-0103 is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-49 and the Defense Federal Acquisition Supplement (DFARS), current to DPN 20110214. The North American Classification System Code is 532490 and this acquisition will be solicited on an unrestricted basis. The Government has a requirement for the lease of (1) ea heavy-equipment tractor and (1) ea hydraulic disk plow. The equipment will be used to perform maintenance on firebreaks on mild to rough terrain within Camp Pendleton, CA. The lease will be for a period of (59) days, beginning 5 May 2011. CLIN 0001: Lease of (1) ea Challenger MT765C or equal. The equipment shall have a minimum 320 engine-horsepower (gross) and shall be equipped with Category III, 3-point hitch. This equipment will be used to tow a hydraulic-controlled, 23-disk plow. Quantity: (1) ea. CLIN 0002: Lease of (1) ea Rome RCH-23 hinge-wheel disk plow or equal. The equipment shall be hydraulic-controlled and equipped with (23) disks with the minimum dimensions of 36 ť in diameter and ˝ ťin thickness. Minimum axle size shall be 2- ˝ ś and total width cut of minum 18 feet. Net weight of the equipment shall be no more than 18,000 pounds. Quantity: (1) ea. The Government may accept any item or group of items of an offer, unless the offeror qualifies the offer by specific limitations. The Government reserves the right to make multiple awards by line item if it is in the best interest of the Government.
