- Description
- The Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Fort Bragg, North Carolina intends to award a sole source contract in accordance with 10 USC 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(A), to Jantech Services Inc, 2821 Rowland Road, Raleigh, NC for battery replacement for the Mitsubishi 300kVA, 9800 UPS and Mitsubishi 225kVA 9700 UPS. Both the Mitsubishi 300kVA 9800 UPS and Mitsubishi 225kVA, 9700 UPS are under factory warranty from Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. (MEPPI). MEPPI has a network of authorized independent service providers which have been trained by MEPPI to service their products. The independent service providers receive ongoing product training, technical support, documentation, firmware, and parts from MEPPI. By using a non-authorized independent service provider the validity of the current warranty will be voided in the case of the system not functioning properly after replacement of the batteries. The batteries being requested are the C&D UPS12-400MR and C&D UPS12-490MR. Interested vendors who believe they are capable of satisfying this requirement must submit a detailed capabilities statement to the email address provided below no later than April 19, 2011, 11:00 am EST.
