Description
REQUEST FOR INFORMATION as defined in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 15.201(e). NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENT EXISTS. The Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM) is conducting a market survey to obtain information on responsible firms that hold General Services Administration (GSA) schedules, and small businesses who have the capability to provide Heating, Ventalating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) maintenance support services. MARCORSYSCOM has a potential requirement for Environmental Control System (ECS) maintenance services. ECS maintenance services will be performed on MARCORSYSCOM ™s HVAC equipment in an attempt to keep the system running properly for the life of these assets and will entail the following: (1) Contractor shall provide a service support warranty that includes a minimum maintenance/repair with a response time of 4 hour onsite emergency response time, and regular service calls 24 hour response time; (2) The contractor shall provide all management, personnel, tools, equipment, and labor necessary to maintain and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning for the ECS, (3) visit provides Critical Power and Cooling Services (CPCS) certified service personnel at the Facility on a pre-determined scheduled date; and (4) service will provide certified technicians at the facility within a specified period of time to diagnose, repair, and test the system in the event of failure. All related labor, travel and parts are included with the service. The U.S. Marine Corps will use the results of this announcement to determine what capabilities exist in the marketplace. MARCORSYSCOM will not pay or provide reimbursement for any costs incurred in the preparation or delivery of the request for information. Interested firms are requested to submit a response in a Microsoft Office compatible format, not to exceed 10 pages, outlining their ability to meet or exceed the requirements identified above by no later than 2:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time (EDT), 22 April 2011. Firms should also include their business size/type, GSA contract number, if applicable. Only electronic submissions will be accepted.
