- The US Department of Homeland Security (DHS), National Protection and Program Directorate (NPPD), Federal Protective Service (FPS), Region 10, Auburn, WA has a requirement for the purchase and installation of a complete security system, including IDS, ACS, and CCV systems. This requirement includes delivery, installation, and integration with existing system, wiring, cabling, power, equipment, devices, connectors, training, etc., as specified is the Statement of Work (SOW). The requirement is 100% set-aside for small businesses. A firm-fixed priced contract is anticipated. The submission requirements and evaluation criteria will be described in the solicitation. The North American industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 561621 with size standard $12.5 million. The contractor is required to register with Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at http://www.ccr.gov. No contract award shall be made to any contractor that is not registered. The solicitation will be issued on or about 04/20/2011.
