Description

THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT. The Department of Veteran Affairs, VA North Texas Health Care System (VANTHCS), intends to negotiate a contract with the Bonham Fire Department, 301 e. 5TH Street, Bonham, TX 75418-4093. The contract is to provide routine and emergency/urgent transportation of eligible patients from the Sam Rayburn Memorial Veterans Center located in Bonham, TX to appropriate facilities for continued or additional extensive care. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority at FAR 6.302-1. All FAR Provisions and clauses may be reviewed and or obtained at www.arnet.gov. This notice of our intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon the responses received is solely at the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All responsible sources may submit a response to this solicitation no later than April 20, 2011 at 2:00 PM., CST, which shall be considered by the agency.
