- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City intends to issue a competitive order for 180 each of a Plug Valve Stem, P/N 6696581, for the Manufacture of Fleet Support Material. The 180 each Plug Valve Stem is required in support of the Mark 24 Full Face Mask assembly. This item is tested and certified for use in the Mark 24 to ensure operational compatibility with other components. Only small business companies that have the capability to test or certify similar parts for this use need apply. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 332999, and the small business size standard is 500 employees. The Department of Defense will no longer award contracts to contractors not registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database. Registration may be accomplished by accessing the CCR website at http://www.ccr.gov/. The basic of award will be adequate competition to the lowest bidder. The award date on or about 04/29/11.
