- The Regional Contracting Office, Marine Corps Base Hawaii (MCBH) has a requirement for maintenance, repair of recycling equipment at MCBH Recycling Center Bldg. 132. The equipment to be repair/maintained is as follows: Selco Baler cardboard baler Serial Number HAL-7SSR-FPFES0R-03017410, Excel Manufacturing paper baler Model No. CV 4815, Serial No. C1138, Dual-Shear Shredder plastic shredder Model No. M70E (52), Serial No. S2067, IPS Industrial Paper Shredder, white paper shredder, Model 40-S, Serial No. 4518 and Vertical baler, Model 3400HD, Philadelphia Tram Rail Co. This synopsis is prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. The provisions and clauses in the Request for Quotations are those in effect through FAC 2005-51. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is M00318-11-T-0039. The anticipated contract will be a Firm Fixed Price Contract. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) and the small business size standard for this procurement is 811310 and 7.0 Million respectively. All contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database to be eligible for a Department of Defense contract award. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The Government will award a single contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose quote conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate the quotations: 1) Technical, 2) Price amd 3) Past Performance. The RFQ will be available on or around 15 April 2011.
