- Description
- The Government proposes to procure services required for a six month extension to Performance Based Logistics contract for management and sustainment of Apache AH-64 A and D Sensors Equipment. Apache Sensors equipment consists of Target Acquisition Designation Sight/Pilot Night Vision Sensors (TADS/PNVS) and Modernized Target Acquisition Designation Sight/Pilot Night Vision Sensors (M-TADS/PNVS), including all obsolescence replacement configurations. Sensors equipment includes peculiar ground support equipment (PGSE) and electro optical bench (EOB) equipment in active use by the USG in support of Apache A and D model sensors flight components. Depot maintenance of highly complex military equipment (class IX, secondary items only) includes all equipment, material, (except as provided as Government Furnished Equipment), labor, facilities, technical support and screening, performance tracking, hardware and/or software quantities, and other resources and sensor unique consumables, required to sustain secondary item Sensor equipment components. Sustainment encompasses all necessary depot level (wholesale) support elements, system components, test equipment and the supply/retrograde infrastructure up to and including the supply support facility (SRA) and Central Command (CENTCOM) requirements. The Government intends to award a sole source firm fixed price contract modification to Lockheed Martin, Missiles and Fire Control, Orlando, FL, under the authority and Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), only one source or a limited number of responsible sources will satisfy agency requirements.
