- Description
- The Social Security Administration (SSA), Office of Disability Adjudication and Review (ODAR) has a requirement for a one-year maintenance contract for audiovisual (AV) equipment. The contractor will be required to provide support and preventive maintenance to the AV System during the contract period. SSA is contemplating a fixed-price award for one year from the date of award with provisions for four one-year option periods. This acquisition is expected to be conducted in accordance with Part 12 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 simplified acquisitions. Prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of any contract. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Solicitation number SSA-RFQ-11-1274 is expected for release on or about April 12, 2011. The solicitation will be available for downloading at, https://www.fedconnect.net. Requests for! hard copies of the solicitation will not be honored. Potential offerors shall be responsible for signing up and monitoring this internet site, https://www.fedconnect.net, for release of the solicitation, amendments (if any), and all other documents relative to the solicitation. This is not a solicitation this is only a synopsis. Interested parties must respond to the solicitation in order to be considered for award of any resultant contract. No telephone requests will be honored as all questions must be submitted in writing via e-mail to Social Security Joyce.Werrell@ssa.gov. Interested parties should be advised that a site visit will be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2011, at 11:00am in the Falls Church, VA., area.
