- The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic, intends to issue a SoleSource award to Specifics Systems, LTD under the authority of 10U.S.C.2304(C) and in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. The requirement is for theprocurement of Specific Systems MAC 62-22 air conditioning unit withassociated features. This unit is proprietary in design, and no otheralternativeis acceptable, as the Tactical Mobile Shelter (TMS) was designed specificallyforthe MAC-62. This action will be conducted IAW FAR 12 and FAR 13, NAICS code333415. This synopsis is published for informational purposes only, and is nota request for competitive offers. Any inquiries concerning this requirementareto be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer. A determination by theGovernment not to compete this proposed action based on responses to thisnotice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
