Description
Justification Special Notice. ADM-11-192 U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) Division of Contracts Mail Stop TWB 01 B10M Washington, D.C. 20555 Classification Code: -- Custom Computer Programming Service NAICS Code 811310 Contracting Office Address: U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Office of Administration Division of Contracts 11545 Rockville Pike Rockville, MD 20852-2738 United States SUBJECT LINE: "NOTICE IF INTENT TO NEGOTIATE SOLE SOURCE PURCHASE ORDER FOR EQUIPMENT MOVE AND RELOCATION SERVCES" The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) intends to negotiate a sole source purchase order under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) with the Xerox Corporation to disassemble and reassemble duplicating and bindery equipment for the purpose of flooring replacement in the NRC print shop. The period of performance for this proposed acquisition is estimated at 2 months from date of contractor acceptance of the resultant purchase order. At his time service is only available directly from Xerox Corp. as the equipment is currently being maintenance or leased by Xerox and having another contractor perform the work would deem the contracts null and void; however; any responsible sources that can demonstrate that they, too, can provide the required services may respond to this notice to so indicate. Any such response to this notice must be in writing and must include clear and convincing evidence of that capability to provide the required service. In addition 508 Compliance Guidelines to not apply to this proposed acquisition. Interested vendors must submit their responses to Wanda M. Brown, Contract Specialist, at the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Division of Contracts, TWB 01 B10M, Washington, D.C. 20555 via mail no later than April 14, 2011. Questions may be submitted to Mr. Brown via email at Wanda.Brown@nrc.gov.
